Hotel Review: Apollo Hotel Amsterdam

Centrally situated in the charming Amsterdam Oud-Zuid area, the Apollo hotel offers 223 rooms and 5 meeting rooms. Positioned at the convergence of five canals, this hotel allows guests to stay in the picturesque Old South district of Amsterdam, within easy reach of the city's popular attractions.

There are two dining options at the hotel: The Living Room and The Harbor Club Amsterdam Zuid. Guests can also enjoy room service, which is provided by The Harbor Club.

Although the exterior of the building may not be remarkable, the interior and service of this hotel are excellent. Upon arrival, there is a convenient parking area located just across the entrance.

Although the reception desks are too high for wheelchair users, which is unwelcoming, the overall service is good and the staff was helpful.

Guests and restaurant visitors can find an accessible restroom on the ground floor.

Located on the second floor, the accessible room in this hotel features two bathrooms. Prior to reaching the elevator on the first floor, there is a steep hallway that does not meet accessibility standards. However, active manual wheelchair or electric wheelchair users can manage it. Please note that the elevator is small, so bringing a handbike or other device to the room is not advisable due to limited space.
